Terms & Conditions

Welcome to MyCityBiz.com ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our digital business card service at card.mycitybiz.com ("Platform"), you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, legally competent to enter into a binding agreement, and that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

MyCityBiz.com provides a self-service platform for creating and sharing digital business cards ("Cards"). Users independently create, manage, and share their Cards. We do not verify the accuracy of information entered by users. We act solely as a technology platform and not as an endorser, agent, or representative of any user or their business.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy, legality, and authenticity of all information entered on your Card
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring your Card does not impersonate any person, business, or entity
• Ensuring your content complies with all applicable Indian laws and regulations

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to use the Platform to:

• Create duplicate, fraudulent, or misleading Cards
• Impersonate another person, business, or brand
• Upload or display obscene, defamatory, illegal, or harmful content
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or any form of cyber fraud
• Violate any intellectual property rights of third parties
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its infrastructure
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or tools to extract data from the Platform
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under the Indian Penal Code, IT Act 2000, or any other applicable law

5. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of the content you submit to your Card. By submitting content, you grant MyCityBiz.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform. We do not claim ownership of your personal or business data.

6. Subscription, Payments & Coupons

Access to an active digital business card requires either a valid paid subscription or an authorized coupon code. The following terms apply:

• All subscription fees are listed on the Platform and are subject to change with prior notice
• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay; we do not store your payment card details
• Coupons are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to validity periods
• Subscriptions are non-refundable once activated unless otherwise stated in writing
• In case of a failed payment, your Card may be deactivated until payment is confirmed
• GST and other applicable taxes will be charged as per Government of India regulations

7. Refund Policy

Given the digital nature of the service, all payments are generally non-refundable once a subscription is activated and the Card is made live. Exceptions may be considered at our sole discretion in the following cases:

• Duplicate payment due to a technical error (verified by our team)
• Service not delivered due to a fault on our end

Refund requests, if applicable, must be raised within 7 days of payment via email to support@mycitybiz.com. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

8. Service Availability & Modifications

• We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access to the Platform
• Scheduled or emergency maintenance may temporarily affect service availability
• We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue features at any time
• In case of permanent service shutdown, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users

9. Card Deactivation & Suspension

We reserve the right to deactivate, suspend, or permanently delete a Card without prior notice in the following circumstances:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Subscription expiry or non-payment
• Reports of abuse, fraud, impersonation, or duplicate content
• Legal orders or government directives
• Unusual or suspicious activity detected on the account
• Changes in hosting infrastructure or third-party service providers

MyCityBiz.com shall not be liable for any loss of business, revenue, or data arising from Card deactivation.

10. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, platform design, code, and content belonging to MyCityBiz.com are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our Platform without explicit written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyCityBiz.com, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of business, revenue, data, goodwill, or profits
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Issues caused by third-party services (hosting, payment gateways, etc.)

Our total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the preceding 3 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MyCityBiz.com and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, your content, or your violation of any third-party rights.

14. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Razorpay, Google Maps, WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
